José Vélez performed at the closing of the I Insular Cup of Canarian Wooden Ball for people over 60 years of age. Hundreds of people enjoyed the singer-songwriter's voice at the concert held on Sunday night in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente square in San Bartolomé.
María Dolores Corujo, president of the Island Council, expressed her satisfaction for having finished the Canarian Ball tournament for seniors in such a special way as this José Vélez concert, demonstrating the greatness of the project and the dedication to organize it successfully.
“We thank the attendance of all those who have spent unique moments during this evening, the participation of our elders in the Insular Cup of Canarian Wooden Ball and in this performance and we hope that in future editions we will have renowned artists for the enjoyment of the population”, he concluded.
