Jameos del Agua will host next March 27 the scenic proposal ¡Long live!, which is born from an intimate childhood memory of the dancer Manuel Liñán.

According to what the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers (CACT) have narrated, the one in which, behind closed doors, he dressed in his mother's skirt to dance with total freedom has used this piece of personal memory to transform the private into a collective celebration on stage.

Seven dancers explore new ways of inhabiting flamenco incorporating elements traditionally associated with female dance, such as the bata de cola or the mantón, generating a scenic dialogue that questions gender codes and vindicates freedom of expression in art.

Viva! proposes a celebration of dance in all its forms with a vibrant and energetic staging. The show combines flamenco tradition, emotion, and a powerful scenic language to build a universe that invites the audience to reflect on identity, desire, and freedom through movement.

The performance of ¡Viva! will take place next March 27, at 8:00 p.m., in the Auditorium Jameos del Agua.

Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased through the following link: https://escenalanzarote.com/evento/viva/.

The show is part of the Escena Lanzarote program.
