The CEO of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, Benjamín Perdomo, presented this Thursday to the tourism sector 'Insólita ? Cueva de los Verdes', the third of the Premium products with which he wants to "satisfy the desire and interest in discovering less common corners and spaces of César Manrique's most decisive work".
'Insólita ? Cueva de los Verdes' is "an exciting journey that invites you to explore the volcanism and geology of the Corona volcanic tube, formed approximately 21,000 years ago", it is explained from the Centers. The Premium experience extends the usual route through the bowels of the cave to the vicinity of the Geodynamics station, one of the three permanent observation modules located on the island from which the pulse of the planet is taken. Inside, there are equipment and systems that store fundamental data related to the study of geodesy and geophysics.
On the way back, multimedia technology will offer Premium visitors the possibility of enjoying the extraordinary acoustics of the Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium through the projection of a recorded performance by the timple player José Vicente Pérez.
Benjamín Perdomo is confident that the Premium experiences presented to "those who will become prescribers of the product" will arouse the interest of the resident population and new and repeat tourists, who "will be able to get off the traditional routes and participate in experiences that will help them discover a lesser-known facet of César Manrique's extraordinary work".
Among those attending this Thursday's experience were representatives from Lanzarote Experience, Destination Touristic Services, Global Incentive, Jumbo Tours, Viajes Tara, Tui Group, First Minute, APIT and Aboraservice, Central de Reservas Lanzarote, Low Cost Tour Europe, MT Global and Lanzaroteguides, as well as the center's team of guides.
