The Haría City Council will begin this Friday, June 5, the Patron Saint Festivities of San Juan Bautista 2026 with an inaugural event that will combine tradition, culture, and music in a convivial atmosphere open to all citizens.

The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, highlights the importance of this event as the starting point of festivities that represent the “collective pride of the municipality”. “We invite all the population and those who visit us to participate in a program designed for all audiences and that reflects the welcoming character of our town,” he indicates.

The program will start at 9:00 PM in the plot adjacent to Haría Square with the reading of the proclamation, which this year will be carried out by Hermelindo Navarro Cardero, a figure closely linked to the history and identity of the municipality. Afterwards, the renowned musician Benito Cabrera will offer a special performance to welcome festivities that will last for the coming weeks.

The day will culminate with the traditional Assault starring Los Conejeros, a highly anticipated event within the festive program and which will once again bring together neighbors and visitors around one of the most popular expressions of the patron saint celebrations.

The program will continue with a wide cultural, sports, musical, and traditional program throughout the month of June.
