The Haría City Council celebrated this Tuesday, October 31, the first edition of the Night of Finaos, a cultural and traditional commitment that had a great acceptance and participation by the population of the municipality.
The program took place in the town of Haría and included workshops, games, gastronomic tasting, dance and performances, culminating with the theatrical staging entitled 'By the Light of the Candles', by the producer 'Vértice'.
The Councilor for Culture, Paula Montero, stressed that it is the first time that this tradition has been promoted, "which must be recovered, preserved and promoted for the benefit of our heritage and identity."
"We enjoyed an afternoon of games and workshops focused on the finaos, the show of the 'Traslación' festival and the finishing touch was the theatrical interpretation of the play 'By the Light of the Candles'", the councilor detailed.
