The San Bartolomé City Council has already presented the events of the 'Carnival 2024'. The Carnival comes loaded with an inclusive program designed for all ages, which will take place from Sunday, February 4, with the presentation gala in San Bartolomé, until Friday, February 16, with the parade and burial of the Guachinango, in Playa Honda.
The 'Carnival 2024', whose allegory will be ‘The Wonderful World of Tim Burtolomé’, will have an agenda that will tour the different population centers of the municipality, with events in Playa Honda, San Bartolomé, Güime, El Islote and Montaña Blanca, during the 13 days of celebration. Days in which music will be the protagonist.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, has highlighted the importance of Carnival for all of San Bartolomé, since “it is one of the most anticipated festivals” and has valued the work carried out by the Department of Festivities as well as the involvement of local groups “who each year carry out an tireless work that makes our Carnival a unique event, with an agenda full of activities for all audiences with which the neighbors can enjoy”.
For her part, the Councilor for Festivities, Estefanía Luzardo, encourages all citizens to participate in the carnival events “showing off the participatory municipality that San Bartolomé is, so we hope they can enjoy these days with family and friends. Under the slogan 'In the municipality of San Bartolomé we all play', the Carnival includes inclusive activities in its program, which will have adaptations to the needs of the neighbors who request it.
