The Haría City Council celebrated this Saturday, October 5, in Charco del Palo, a new edition of the Oktoberfest, an event full of music, tradition and German gastronomy. Neighbors and visitors gathered to enjoy a wide program of activities for the whole family.
The party kicked off with the children's area at 1:00 p.m., where the little ones had their space for fun, and the parade of the Teguise Municipal Band, which toured the streets putting music to the opening of the barrel, thus marking the official start of the Oktoberfest.
Throughout the afternoon, the music did not stop, with performances by Kerala, Too Brass, Marco Puma & The Cougars and Sin Cobertura, who closed the festive day in style.
One of the most anticipated moments was the typical costume contest, in which prizes were awarded to the best dressed man and the best dressed woman.
The Haría City Council together with the Cabildo of Lanzarote thank all the attendees for making this Oktoberfest an unforgettable event, highlighting the importance of keeping festive traditions alive in the community.
