The Puerto Rican rapper René Pérez Joglar, known artistically as Residente and former vocalist of the band Calle 13, will perform this summer in Lanzarote. Along with him, artists such as the Mexican band Maná, the Balearic artist Rels B, the Argentinian María Becerra, and the artist from Gran Canaria, Ptazeta, will be part of a four-day party lineup within the Lava Live Fest Lanzarote festival.
The event will be held over two summer weekends in Agramar. The weekend of Friday, June 13, and Saturday, June 14, as well as Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26.
Artists coming in June
Next Friday, June 13, the Puerto Rican musician Residente, author of emblematic songs such as René, Bizarrap's session 49, or Muerte en Hawaii, the latter during his time with Calle 13, will be in Lanzarote. That same day, the Cuban band Orishas, the artist from Gran Canaria, Ptazeta, and DJs Renzzo El Selector and Carlos Chavaud will also perform on the island.
For Saturday, June 14, the Mexican band Maná will bring hits like Oye Mi Amor, Rayando el Sol, Clavado en un Bar, and En el muelle de San Blas, along with performances by Los Zigarros, Drupe, and DJ Ángel Pérez.
Artists performing in July
As La Voz had exclusively announced, on Friday, July 25, the American DJ and producer Steve Aoki, who has hits like MIC Drop and Naaoki and more than 15.2 million listeners on Spotify, will be in Lanzarote. Along with him, on the same Friday, the Balearic artist Rels B, known for songs like A mí, Te regalo, or Mi amor, as well as the American Justin Quiles and the singer of La Morocha and Bizarrap's session 61, Luck Ra, will perform. That same day, DJ Sumaya VB will be on stage.
For Saturday, July 26, the Catalan duo Estopa will sing historical hits on stage such as Tu calorro, Por la raja de tu falda, or Como Camarón, which accumulates 3.9 million monthly listeners. Added to this is the Argentinian María Becerra, who has 18.4 million listeners and songs like Miénteme or Tatú. Finally, the Colombian singer Kapo, responsible for hits like Ohnana, Uwaie, or Qué Pecao, will also be there.
Ticket sales
Tickets are already on sale, and the points of sale are the festival's own website, the Mozaga gas station, and the BP gas station in Valterra. The total capacity will be 18,000 people, and people over 65 will enter for free. In addition, those who have the youth card will have discounts on the entrance fee.
There will be three different prices:
- General: 45 euros with the possibility of buying a pass for 80 euros for two days.
- Front stage: 90 euros and also with the possibility of a pass for 150 euros.
- Platinum ticket: 300 euros with a position in front of the stage but with the possibility of accessing a tent with food, drinks, talks, etc.
