The performer and creator, renowned in the international jazz music scene, the Tenerife pianist Polo Ortí, joins the palmero combo Troveros de Asieta and will offer a concert this Friday, November 3 in Lanzarote. The event will take place at the Víctor Fernández Gopar Theater El Salinero at 8:00 p.m. and is organized by the Cabildo of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
The Councilor for Culture of the island institution, Jesús Machín Tavío, highlights the relevance of this event by stating that "this musical fusion represents a unique culmination of styles in a show that celebrates diversity and artistic mastery." "It is an exceptional opportunity to appreciate the musical magic on stage," he concludes.
The formation of La Isla Bonita is considered one of the most important groups of Cuban music made in Europe and together with her, Polo Ortí, will stage this new project, in which the combination of jazz harmonies with the waste of percussive elements stands out, which go hand in hand on stage.
The talent of the Tenerife pianist is widely recognized. Beyond his versatility, the genius and humor with which he carries out his interpretations, his cause has always been the search, the adventure and the courage of his projects. We do not know to which port this new incursion into the music of the world will arrive, but it is certain that Troveros de Asieta, the popular palmero ensemble of Cuban son, will know how to unleash their descarga and also take advantage of the many synergies, compatibilities and possible musical developments.
