The Arrecife City Council, through the Social Services Area, organized this Sunday a Mascaritas Dance in which about 400 senior citizens of the municipality participated. "The Senior Citizens' Carnival is an essential event within the broad and varied program of the Arrecife Carnival 2023 events," they point out from the capital's Consistory.
The Arrecife Civic Center became the meeting point for the elderly of Arrecife, who celebrated the Mascaritas Dance with the animation of the musical duo Borrón y Cuenta Nueva and the authentic verbena music of the orchestra Los Jarvac, founded in 1972 by Clotildo Morales (Tilo).
"Mayor Astrid Pérez and the Councilor for Social Services María Jesús Tovar were enjoying with the senior citizens of the municipality in a very participatory Sunday afternoon, endearing, lively and with lots of color," they conclude from the Arrecife City Council.
