The First Section of the Provincial Court of Las Palmas will try next Monday a man accused of selling drugs during the celebration of the local festivals of Caleta de Sebo in La Graciosa.
The events date back to July 19, 2019, around 4:50 p.m., when the accused allegedly carried various narcotic substances to distribute to third parties. Specifically, 355 grams of Cannabis Resin amounting to 2,076.75 euros, as well as 184.86 grams of marijuana worth 939.08 euros.
Likewise, in its indictment the Public Prosecutor's Office points out that it also had 1.99 grams of cocaine with a richness of 85.93%, which amounts to 119.55 euros, and 23.65 grams of a richness of 82.70% and 1,420.89 euros of value in the market.
At the time of his arrest he also carried a scale, a knife and 70.80 euros divided into bills and coins.
The Prosecutor's Office asks for the accused four years and nine months in prison, with the accessory of special disqualification for the right to passive suffrage during the time of the sentence for an alleged crime against public health in its form of substances that cause serious damage to health.
In addition, it requests a financial penalty of 14,952.09 euros, with the payment of subsidiary responsibility of six months of deprivation of liberty.
