The Lanzarote and La Graciosa Chamber of Commerce will offer two new free and face-to-face training courses, with the aim of improving the employability of the inhabitants of our island, through quality training actions that meet the needs of the business community.
The first is a course on Warehouse Management and Delivery, aimed at young people between 17 and 29 years old, both inclusive, who are unemployed and registered in Youth Guarantee, with the aim of facilitating incorporation into the logistics sector, warehouse management and delivery.
So that not having the driving license B is an impediment, the training includes the preparation and fees for the theoretical exam of the DGT. This course is part of the Young Talent Program (formerly PICE), and is co-financed by the Cabildo de Lanzarote, with a clear commitment to training our young people.
The second is a course on Sustainable Tourism designed to train those entrepreneurs, self-employed or with a business idea, with the aim of implementing good practices, promoting local and sustainable tourism products, and promoting a tourism model that is more respectful of the environment.
This training action is part of the Spain Entrepreneur Program, promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, and co-financed by the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
Both start on October 20, Warehouse Manager/Delivery person will be taught in the morning shift, and Sustainable Tourism in the afternoon.
Places are limited, so interested people are advised to register as soon as possible, through the website of the Lanzarote and La Graciosa Chamber of Commerce.
The Young Talent and Spain Entrepreneur Programs are promoted by the Chamber of Spain together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, through the National Youth Guarantee System, and are financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
