The average rate of hotels in Lanzarote increased by 14.6% in November compared to the same month last year, according to the latest profitability indicators of the hotel sector from the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
Thus, the average rate in hotels on the island was 140 euros per night, almost 15 euros more than it cost a year ago, with marked differences depending on the municipality.
However, the price growth is strongly linked to the category of the hotels, according to the latest report on the behavior and perception of visitors in Lanzarote, prepared by the tourism intelligence company Cebrián Technologies and disseminated by the Ministry of Tourism.
Five-star hotel establishments in Lanzarote increased their prices by 17% in November compared to the same month last year and reached an average rate of 365 euros per night.
For their part, four-star hotels experienced a price increase of 3%, reaching an average rate of 206 euros.
Finally, the three-star hotel establishments in Lanzarote maintained the same prices as last year, with an average of 127 euros per night.
