The number of rural accommodations reserved for the December long weekend, which for many will last for five days, is at an average of 55% in Spain, according to the specialized digital platform EscapadaRural.com.
In the case of the province of Las Palmas, the level of reservations in rural accommodations already reaches 71% and is only surpassed in Spain by the level of occupancy in the province of Huelva, where the percentage reaches 78%.
The province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has a much lower degree of rural occupancy, as it stands at 53%.
The province of Badajoz is tied with Las Palmas, whose rural accommodations are also 71% reserved. Next, the provinces with the most reservations are Segovia, with 69%, Murcia and Huesca, both with 67%, and Navarra, with 66%.
The rural tourism platform brings together nearly 19,000 rural accommodations in Spain, representing 95% of the total number of houses registered in the sector.
