The CEO of the Tourist Centers, Benjamín Perdomo, traveled on Tuesday morning to Jameos del Agua to welcome a group of tourists from the American cruise ship Sea Spirit, a small and luxurious ship that has made a stopover today in Arrecife.
These are 68 cruise passengers from New York and Chicago, linked to art, culture and universities, "and very interested in the life and work of César Manrique," according to the counselor.
Perdomo invited them to "enjoy an island of contrasts and colors", and to "get caught up in a territory especially committed to the protection of the environment and the sustainability of the planet".
Finally, after the visit to Jameos del Agua, the expedition moved to the El Diablo restaurant, in Montañas del Fuego, to enjoy the gastronomy "of the volcano", a promotional action that is part of the strategy to improve the positioning of the destination in the North American tourist market," said the counselor.
"Our intention is to show them a part of our identity and generate an unforgettable memory of their visit to Lanzarote that will turn them into the best prescribers of the destination," concluded the counselor at the end of the visit.
