Lanzarote presents its tourism strategy at the 'Connections Luxury' event in London

Héctor Fernández presents Lanzarote Premium in London

The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Sociedad de Promoción Exterior de Lanzarote (SPEL), presented the renewed tourism strategy and the new positioning of the Island in the sector at the Connections Luxury' event in London, which brings together luxury travel professionals.

Lanzarote was the sponsor of the welcome reception and opening of this professional meeting framed in the Global Travel Week and where more than 20 meetings will be held with agents specialized in differentiated destinations.

The president and Tourism Councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, who was represented in the English capital by the CEO of SPEL, Héctor Fernández, valued "the presence of the Island in a tourism event of great caliber like this, where we announced 'Lanzarote Premium', our strategy that aims to promote sustainability, nature, culture or gastronomy, under the values that César Manrique proposed at the birth of the island as a tourist destination".

In the same vein, Héctor Fernández highlighted "the opportunity we have again to expand relations with new tourist markets and strengthen existing ones with British agents, who are the main visitors to Lanzarote, presenting them with the changes in the model in which we have been working".
