Lanzarote's 77 hotels earned a total of 772.8 million euros in 2024, 87 million more than they earned in 2023.

And the total number of travelers, 1.79 million, was very similar to the previous year (1.77 million). What increased was the number of hotel overnight stays, which totaled 300,000 more than the previous year, for a total of 12.6 million.

Likewise, the occupancy of hotel rooms increased from 84.9% in 2023 to 85.9% last year.

The average daily rate increased from 120.9 euros in 2023 to 133.6 last year, which is equivalent to a year-on-year increase of 10.5%.

Employment also increased by almost a thousand people. Lanzarote's hotels closed in 2024 with a workforce totaling 9,851 workers, that is, 981 more people than at the end of 2023.
