Lanzarote Airport has the most expensive VIP lounge in Spain

In contrast, the cheapest among the fifteen Spanish airports with the most air traffic is in El Prat, Barcelona

More and more passengers are choosing to spend their waiting time at airports in the VIP lounge, where they can find food and drinks, comfortable seats, and in some cases even showers and cabins for a nap.

This is evidenced by a study by the travel sim card company, Airalo, which reveals that internet searches for "airport VIP lounge prices" have increased by 150% in Spain in the last year.

The aforementioned company has also analyzed the 15 busiest airports in Spain to determine where tourists can find the most affordable VIP lounges. The study reveals that the most expensive of all is the one at César Manrique Airport, which costs 44.60 euros to access.

In contrast, the cheapest among those analyzed is at Barcelona Airport, and its entrance costs 25 euros.

The second most expensive VIP lounge among Spanish airports is at Menorca Airport, where an entrance fee of 34 euros is charged.

Interestingly, after Barcelona, the cheapest are those at Gran Canaria and Tenerife South airports. In both, it costs 30 euros.

The vast majority of the analyzed lounges charge 31 euros to enter. This is the case at the airports of Tenerife North, Barajas, Palma, Málaga, Alicante, Valencia, Seville, Ibiza, Bilbao, and Fuerteventura.
