Iberia Express has scheduled between March 25 and April 7 nearly 13,000 additional seats to facilitate the travel of visitors and residents on the islands, as well as those who want to take advantage of these days to travel to Madrid. The reinforcement means 70 more flights up to a total of 126,000 seats in this period.

Almost 2,000 of the extra seats will be specifically for reinforcing the connection between Lanzarote and the capital of Spain.

On all islands Iberia Express has scheduled additional flights and, during this period, will offer up to 12 flights per direction with Tenerife, between the north and the south; another 10 per direction with Gran Canaria; in Lanzarote it will reach four daily flights per direction; three per direction in Fuerteventura; and in La Palma it has scheduled a double daily flight on the days of highest demand during this period.

“The good weather makes the Canary Islands, year after year, one of the most demanded national destinations during Easter and, for residents in the Canary Islands, these dates are also a fantastic opportunity to visit Madrid and enjoy its cultural program. We expect an increase in demand on these routes, which is why we have scheduled nearly 13,000 additional seats for visitors and residents”, commented Isabel Rodríguez, commercial director of Iberia Express.
