The Art, Culture and Tourism Centers have joined the network of establishments in Spain that allows any commercial transaction to be carried out through the American Express card.
“It is an agreement with a top-level international partner that allows us to expand the payment method and, therefore, facilitate commercial operations for our customers and, at the same time, improve our positioning in the increasingly important digital payment sector”, explained the Entity's director, Ángel Vázquez.
From this month of October, therefore, it will be possible to pay any payment transaction in the Tourist Centers using this card that "has an advanced protection and security system".
American Express is one of the most recognized and popular card payment systems on the planet. It has an extensive network of partners that continues to grow: in Spain alone, 487,000 companies joined between 2022 and 2023.
In the current year, it has added recognized firms such as Cinesa, GAME, Perfume’s Club or the restaurants Rhudo and Cornamusa & Azotea Cibeles. In addition, American Express" remains firmly committed to the hospitality sector, given the importance of tourism in Spain as one of the pillars of the country's economy".
