The price per square meter for sale rose in September by an average of 5.2% on the island of Lanzarote to 2,563 euros, according to the Lanzarote Data Center based on figures from Idealista.com.
Prices rose in Arrecife, Teguise, San Bartolomé and Tías, while they fell in Haría, Tinajo and Yaiza. The changes, both upward and downward, were moderate except in the island's capital and in Teguise.
In Arrecife, prices grew by 10% between August and September to 1,871 euros per square meter, while in Teguise, they did so by 22%, to 2,537 euros.
The Teguise figure is not as significant as that of Arrecife because in August there was a sharp drop in the average prices of Teguise, probably due to the removal of several properties from the system on idealista.com during that month. The September price in Teguise is more in line with the preceding months.
Prices rose slightly in San Bartolomé, from 2,042 in August to 2,085 euros in September, and in Tías, from 3,481 euros to 3,516.
There were also slight price decreases in Haría, where in August it had marked 2,101 and in September 2,055 euros, in Tinajo, where the price fell from 1,902 to 1,886 euros, and in Yaiza, which saw a decrease of nine euros in its average price to 3,450 euros.
