The first Congress of Housing in the Canary Islands will be held on December 1 and 2 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a meeting that is born with the purpose of becoming the main point of reference for the housing sector in the archipelago.

The program includes roundtables, conferences, and workshops on key topics such as the new legal framework for housing access, land management and permits, industrialization in construction, financing models, and public-private collaboration.

In addition, the Canary Housing Observatory's Situation Report, prepared by VISOCAN, will be presented, and the best practices will be recognized with the Awards for Innovation, Sustainability, and Public-Private Collaboration in Housing.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Housing, seeks to promote collaboration and the search for shared solutions to the new challenges in access to housing

Councilor Pablo Rodríguez will participate in the official inauguration alongside the President of the Canary Islands Government, Fernando Clavijo, in an event that will feature two days of debate with more than 40 speakers and top-level experts

Under the slogan "Sustainability, innovation, and collaboration," the Congress will address the opportunities offered by the new regulatory context. Furthermore, it will bring together representatives from public institutions, companies in the sector, universities, professional associations, and third-sector entities, consolidating itself as a space for dialogue among all stakeholders involved.
