The Cabildo de Lanzarote has promoted a new Training Plan for Employment 2024, financed with FDCAN Funds and aimed, fundamentally, at unemployed people from Lanzarote and La Graciosa who are actively seeking employment.
Thus, the Employment Area, directed by Ascensión Toledo, has organized up to eleven free courses that will begin to be taught next June and that, as the counselor points out, "the training offered is adapted to the current needs of the market and the requirements of the companies themselves."
For Toledo, "training is a key piece when it comes to finding a job, that is why we are committed to promoting professional qualification since it considerably improves the possibilities of accessing the labor market and even the economic conditions."
The new Training Plan for Employment 2024 will benefit a total of 146 people and consists of eleven training actions, among them are the courses of Elderly care; Hygiene and home health care; Auxiliary aesthetic services; Manicure and pedicure with semi-permanent enamel; English A1 and B1; Level 1 drone pilot and Aquatic rescue drone pilot; Construction Professional Card, as well as plumbing and electricity.
