The airline Vueling has scheduled 400,000 additional seats in Spain compared to the previous winter, so it will reach 15 million seats with origin or destination Spain.
Regarding the connections between the Canary Islands and the Peninsula, there will be 6% more seats this winter up to two million seats.
This increase represents 115,000 more seats that connect Lanzarote, Tenerife South, Gran Canaria, La Palma and Fuerteventura with 9 destinations in the Peninsula this winter.
In Tenerife North in particular, it takes over much of what Ryanair leaves, with nearly 900,000 seats, 11% more than the previous season.
In the Balearic Islands, Vueling schedules more than 2 million seats in winter. In addition, it will incorporate an aircraft based in Palma during the winter season and will offer more than 1.4 million seats, 8% more than in 2024.
In addition, El Prat airport will have more international connectivity during the next season: 10% more seats to France, especially on the Barcelona-Paris Orly route, which will reach 50 weekly frequencies this winter, reaching 77 between both cities (also adding connections with Paris-Charles de Gaulle).
Other international routes from Barcelona to key markets such as Belgium (+5%), Portugal (+3%) or North Africa (+15%) will also be reinforced.
This winter debuts connections to Ljubljana (Slovenia), Agadir (Morocco) and Strasbourg (France); it also extends the routes to Essaouira (Morocco), Tirana (Albania) and Córdoba throughout the winter; and recovers the connection to Valladolid.
