Three studios from the Canary Islands have landed in Bangkok since October 16, at one of the world's largest video game industry fairs, Gamescom Asia, which in this edition has chosen Thailand to carry out an improved version and to share the latest market trends.
Drakhar, Foxter, and MoonMana participated in this opportunity to continue growing internationally in an industry where growth depends on being global. From the Canary Islands, they are developing products that are already attracting the attention of major Asian companies, and the Canarian ecosystem, the public-private relationship, and collaborations between companies are in turn a competitive advantage for the industry that is already beginning to position the Canary Islands on this complex map.
The Government of the Canary Islands, with the Canary Islands Games brand, encourages the participation of these companies, and does so through regional associations such as Acadevi and Arcadev. It highlights the positioning of this brand, created in 2022 by Proexca and the Canary Islands Special Zone, known not only by the European or American companies attending, but also by some Asian ones. This reflects the intense work of positioning in the sector carried out by the various institutions of the Canary Islands.

Participating is an opportunity to network, present projects, seek funding, and discover market trends, in one of the most dynamic markets with the greatest growth potential. This edition offered B2B, networking, and Speed Dating between developers, publishers, and investors.
The fair offers a program designed to boost business and the exchange of knowledge in the video game industry. It includes an exhibition area, where companies present products, services, and technologies; conferences and workshops on development, marketing, artificial intelligence, and platforms; networking and matchmaking spaces that facilitate strategic connections between professionals.
In addition, it has an area dedicated to eSports and entertainment, with live competitions and game demos.
