The agents, who were aware that pirate DVDs of current feature films were being sold in a bazaar on Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen, carried out a follow-up last Sunday, January 4, which resulted in the seizure of more than 400 non-original films inside the premises, as well as computer equipment for downloading them from the Internet and subsequent copying.
Part of the seized films, which according to police information were sold at a price of between three and five euros, were hidden inside a refrigerator in the bazaar.
It so happens that last July 2008 another point of sale of false audiovisual material was also dismantled, seizing, on that occasion, more than 10,000 films, dozens of hard drives, multi-recorders, computers and printers.

On the other hand, this Thursday, the Local Police and the Civil Guard of Tías have located two vehicles that had been stolen during the early morning in Puerto del Carmen.
