Between January and February a total of 66,980 people have flown between Lanzarote and Tenerife or vice versa, according to data from the Canarian Institute of Statistics, provided by the Lanzarote Data Center.
It is an increase of 8.4% with respect to the same months of 2025 when they were 61,817 people.
With Gran Canaria, the passage from and to Lanzarote has increased by 1.8% to 124,385 travelers in the first two months of 2026. The previous year there were 122,221 passengers.
This winter Binter has increased its flights from Lanzarote to Tenerife North by going from 52 to 54 connections a week and has also maintained its 14 flights from Lanzarote to Tenerife South.
For its part, Canaryfly has repeated with 14 flights a week between Lanzarote and Tenerife North.
The two weekly flights that last winter connected Lanzarote with La Palma with a weekly capacity for 140 people have disappeared from Binter's schedule for this year.
Thus, direct connections between the Island of the Volcanoes and the Beautiful Island have been lost from the end of October until the end of March.
