The first Arrecife Entrepreneurship Fair has started this Friday and will continue during Saturday the 26th, with twenty information points with as many entrepreneurs from the island in Los Luchadores Park.
The mayor of the capital, Astrid Pérez, highlighted "the commitment of the City Council to job creation, training and the promotion of entrepreneurship among the citizens of the capital", during the opening of the fair this Friday.
The opening was attended by students from IES in Altavista and CIFP Zonzamas, who visited the fair stands and greeted the different entrepreneurs.
After the inauguration, a round table discussion began under the theme "Entrepreneurship in Lanzarote", in which entrepreneurs, the Lanzarote and La Graciosa Chamber of Commerce, the Lanzarote Business Conference, the Lanzarote Tourism Federation and the Lanzarote School of Tourism participated.
Los Luchadores Park will also host two presentations: "Mom, Dad, I want to be an artist", by the young musician and entrepreneur Ubay Alemán, and "Impact benefits for entrepreneurs", given by Miguel Ángel
Guisando.
On Saturday, the fair will host a Zumba class, followed by a performance by the music group Los Lola and the conejero group Inerxia. At the same time, the fair has made available to visitors a children's playroom where the little ones can enjoy two interactive slime and cup decorating workshops.
Likewise, two workshops for adults will be organized, taught by entrepreneurs from Arrecife. One of them will consist of making Christmas figures with wire and beads, while the other will be based on learning how to make Christmas cards, through the "Pop-Up" technique.
