The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa held yesterday the III Business Assembly of La Graciosa. The meeting took place at the CSC Inocencia Páez, in Caleta del Sebo, and brought together entrepreneurs from various sectors of the island, as well as representatives of the Plenary of the Chamber, in a space for dialogue and joint work.
The event was inaugurated by the president of the Chamber, José Valle, and by Miguel Páez, member of the Executive Committee of the Chamber and businessman from La Graciosa. Both actively participated in the assembly, welcoming the concerns of the entrepreneurs and committing to seek solutions within their competences. During the meeting, key issues for the economic development of the island were addressed and "the Chamber's commitment to the local business fabric was reaffirmed".
"The open dialogue with the businessmen and women of La Graciosa is essential to know firsthand their needs and work on concrete solutions. From the Chamber of Commerce, we reaffirm our commitment to the island and continue to bet on sustainable growth that benefits the entire community," said José Valle, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
Miguel Páez, as representative of the Chamber, presented the progress and proposals that have been developed in recent months. Among the main issues discussed were the need for sanitation solutions, the state of the roads, the lack of personnel or connectivity problems, among other challenges facing the business fabric of the eighth island.
The importance of dialogue between entrepreneurs and the Chamber
One of the fundamental pillars of this assembly was the exchange of ideas and concerns between local entrepreneurs and members of the Plenary of the Chamber. This type of meeting allows building effective communication bridges and developing joint strategies that favor the business growth of La Graciosa.
In addition, the island's business community showed "its willingness to join efforts and collaborate in the search for solutions to common problems, highlighting the importance of working together to improve the economic and social environment of La Graciosa".
The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa "reaffirms its commitment to the companies and self-employed of La Graciosa, considering their development fundamental in the institution's roadmap". It also recalls that all the Chamber's services are available to the island's companies and that the team can travel when necessary to meet their needs.
