The Lanzarote Business Confederation (CEL) joins a new edition of the work-life balance campaign for local companies in Lanzarote 'Consume Local', whose objective is that businesses close their doors at 6:00 p.m. on December 24 and 31.
The president of the CEL, Francisco Martínez, pointed out that "it is essential that companies and their staff continue, year after year, to welcome this campaign during the Christmas season, in which it is so important to spend time with family and loved ones."
Martínez explained that the intention of the campaign is to invite the population to consume in local establishments during the holidays to boost the commercial sector and that, at the same time, workers can enjoy Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve in their homes from 6:00 p.m.
The initiative is developed jointly with the Commerce Department of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, and the unions CCOO and UGT.
