The Canary Islands return to Cannes to attend two of its most important audiovisual markets, MIP Junior, and MIPCOM, the first focused on products for a child target and the second as one of the meetings where important collaborations between companies in the international industry are forged.

This new mission is carried out through Canary Islands Film, by way of Proexca and ICDC on behalf of the Government, and the Canary Islands Audiovisual Cluster, with the presence of several production companies from the islands.

Four companies are participating in the meeting: Amuse Studios, Ánima Kitchent Canarias, Atlantis Animation, and Locationow. In the case of MIPCOM, Canary Islands Film will have its own space within the "Audiovisual from Spain" pavilion.

For companies in the Canary Islands, MIPJUNIOR is the ideal destination for children's and youth content, and MIPCOM - the International Market for Co-Production and Entertainment Content - which is held after MIP Junior, is one of the most interesting markets in the audiovisual world with the participation of more than 11,000 professionals from 108 countries.

MIPCOM is an essential reference point for finding partners, closing financing, distribution, or co-production agreements.

MIPCOM takes place in the days immediately following MIPJUNIOR, and drives the business of international content rights and co-production with a celebration that highlights the most important new series in the world.

Producers and studio executives from over 100 countries consider it "the most important industry gathering on the global events calendar." Deals are made thanks to a mix of networking events and business opportunities, both planned and spontaneous, that occur from morning to night.

Attending these major international events promotes the external visibility of Canary Island companies that are part of this industry, one of the objectives of internationalizing the islands' economic activity, for which Proexca is working.
