Le petit baby and kids, from Costa Teguise; Estilo, from Villa de Teguise; and Cafetería Matula’s, from Villa Teguise have been the three commercial establishments awarded for their Christmas shop windows in the contest organized by the Municipality's City Council. From the Commerce area of the Consortium they have congratulated the winners of this contest that "every Christmas tries to encourage and reward the businessmen who with their effort support the promotion and improve the image of the local commerce".
The head of the area, Mari Paz Cabrera, has visited the winning merchants, congratulating them "for encouraging Christmas" and has invited the entire network of establishments in the municipality to join in future editions of the contest. Cabrera has been convinced that this type of initiatives contribute to "energize and promote the commerce sector and to create a playful and festive atmosphere in the municipality typical of these dates".
The three winners, who received a prize of 250 euros each, have been recognized for the "exquisite combination of traditional motifs of these holidays, as well as for the creativity and lighting in the decoration".
