Polarization over Lanzarote's economic situation: good for 40%, bad for 38%

Lanzarote residents who consider the island's economy to be fair have fallen from 37% in 2024 to 20% in 2025 in the latest Island Topics Survey

40% of residents surveyed in the latest Island Issues Survey, recently published by the Cabildo of Lanzarote, consider the island's economic situation to be good.

Specifically, 3% consider it very good (last year this percentage rose to 6%) while 37% currently believe it is good, ten points more than in 2024

The percentage of Lanzaroteans who consider the island's economy to be in a bad situation rises to 38%, eleven points more than last year.

Specifically, for 9% of residents, the island's economic situation is very bad, two points more than last year, and for 29% it is bad, nine points more than in 2024. 

Those who believe the island's economy is so-so have fallen from 37% last year to 20% in the latest Island Issues Survey.
