The request for expansion of the Open Mall to Pérez Galdós street in Arrecife enters a period of allegations, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) this Tuesday, January 28.
In the announcement, the General Directorate of Commerce and Consumption of the Ministry of Industry of the Government of the Canary Islands submits to public information the application for authorization of a commercial license for the expansion of the shopping center.
The Open Mall currently has 32,000 square meters to which another 16,605 meters would be added, if the expansion is approved. Thus, it would also occupy the space of the old Ojeda cannery and would reach Pérez Galdos street in front of the Valterra Health Center.
In compliance with the Laws on the Regulation of Commercial Activity in the Canary Islands and regulating the commercial license, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29, the period of twenty business days begins in which the allegations deemed pertinent may be formulated.
To this end, the reference documentation will be available on the notice board of the Electronic Headquarters of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the link, as well as in the form established, where appropriate, by the Arrecife City Council.
