Luis Hernández is the new president of the Association of Rent a Car Businessmen of Lanzarote, integrated into the Lanzarote Tourism Federation. An appointment that has been carried out in the celebration of the General Assembly, a meeting that has brought together the members of the association to elect a new Board of Directors that will be in charge of the organization for the next 4 years.
The team that has been chosen to configure the new board of directors is made up of professionals from the sector, committed to the growth and development of the vehicle rental industry.
The new Board of Directors is made up of the following members: Luis Hernández, (Autos Guayre) President; Cecilio Suarez (Autos Famara) Vice President; Martina Martín (Autos Martina) Secretary; Celso Borges (Autos Borges) Treasurer; Carlos Cabrera (Grupo Cabrera Medina) Member; Alberto Acosta (Jaira Rent a Car) Member.
This new team will assume the responsibility of representing the Association of Rent a Car Businessmen before institutions and administrations, working in close collaboration with all its members to address the current and future challenges facing the industry.
The new president thanked all the members for their participation in the assembly and expressed confidence in his team and in the ability to lead the association towards a prosperous future. “The objective of this new team is to work to strengthen the association and promote an environment conducive to the sustainable growth of the vehicle rental industry on the island of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, as well as the promotion of better business practices and the defense of the common interests of its members,” said Luis Hernández.
The General Assembly appreciated the presence of Susana Pérez, president of the Lanzarote Tourism Federation, who highlighted the importance of intersectoral collaboration to address common challenges and promote sustainable growth.
Susana Pérez, in her speech, shared the strategic lines of the Lanzarote Tourism Federation in terms of sustainability and digitalization. She highlighted the need to adopt responsible business practices and take advantage of emerging technologies to improve efficiency and customer experience in the vehicle rental industry.
