Líneas Romero Awarded for its Sustainable Commitment at the Las Palmas 2025 SME Awards

The company receives the runner-up prize in the Sustainability category, highlighting its responsible business model and its commitment to the environment and the local community

Líneas Romero has been awarded the runner-up prize in the Sustainability category at the Las Palmas 2025 SME Awards, organized by the province's Chambers of Commerce, Banco Santander, and the La Provincia newspaper. This recognition highlights the company's commitment to environmental protection, the social development of local communities, and its commitment to a responsible and sustainable business model.

The awards ceremony was held this Monday at the headquarters of the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce and included a speech by the president of the Gran Canaria Cabildo, Antonio Morales, who reaffirmed the island institution's commitment to SMEs as key players in the local economy. In his speech, he underlined their role in innovation, digitization, sustainability, and territorial cohesion.

Along with Antonio Morales, the event was also attended by the Vice President of the Canary Islands Government, Manuel Domínguez; the Mayor of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Carolina Darias; the territorial director of Banco Santander, Beatriz Martínez; and the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Luis Padrón.

In this edition, the main award was given to the company Ecos Estudios Ambientales y Oceanografía. Also awarded were Smarthen (Digitalization and Innovation Award), Adquiver Media (Internationalization Award), and Coco Solution (Training and Employment Award).
