Lanzarote, more satisfied with its economy than Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura

The Canary Islands with the best opinion on the progress of their island economy are La Gomera and El Hierro

53.6% of Lanzarote residents believe that the economic situation on their island is good, 37% consider it fair, and 9.4% believe it is bad, according to the latest Canary Islands sociobarometer, conducted by the UNED of Gran Canaria.

The percentage of people satisfied with their island's economy is lower in La Palma (39.6%), Gran Canaria (44.9%), Tenerife (45.1%), and Fuerteventura (51.4%)

Instead, the percentage of residents satisfied with the progress of their island economy is higher in both La Gomera (67.5%) and El Hierro (60.8%).

Residents in Lanzarote also have the best opinion of the economic situation of the archipelago in general. 

48.4% of residents on the island of Conejera believe that the current economic situation in the Canary Islands is good, 36.1% consider it regular, and 15.6% believe it is bad. 

In Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, those with a good opinion of the archipelago's economic situation reach the same percentage. 41.2%. In Tenerife, it is slightly higher (41.5%).

La Palma again obtains the worst result with only 40.5% of the population judging the islands' economy as good. 

In contrast, El Hierro (63.9%) and La Gomera (58.5%) achieve the highest approval percentages.
