The César Manrique Airport ranks 18th among the 44 commercial airports in Spain, according to the annual ranking prepared by Holidu, a vacation home booking company, with user reviews on Google Maps.

Lanzarote Airport, which obtained a score of 4.1 points out of five, has fallen six places compared to its ranking last year.

Just before Lanzarote were the country's two major airports, Barajas and El Prat, which with the same score as the Lanzarote airport, were in 17th and 16th place respectively.

The ranking is headed by the airports of El Hierro and La Gomera, the best valued in Spain.

Holidu highlights that the airport of El Hierro (4.5 points), the first in the table, “offers a personalized and welcoming experience, efficient management and a relaxed atmosphere”.

The second best valued airport in the country is that of La Gomera, also 4.5 points, which “stands out for its simplicity and efficiency”. Holidú emphasizes that “although small in size, it offers all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, from cafes with local products to souvenir shops that capture the essence of La Gomera”.

In third place was the airport of Alicante, which obtained a 4.3, largely thanks to “recent renovations that have expanded its capacity and improved its infrastructure, from modern security monitoring systems to more accessible and comfortable boarding areas with all the necessary services”.

The fourth best valued airport in the country is that of Fuerteventura, which also obtained 4.3 points.

Also the airport of La Palma obtained a 4.3 and is considered the seventh best in the country according to Google Maps reviews.

The airports of Gran Canaria and Tenerife Norte occupy the tenth and eleventh positions respectively. Both obtained a 4.2.

Only the airport of Tenerife Sur obtained a worse score than that of Lanzarote. With a score of 4 points, it was in 31st place among the 44 commercial airports in the country.

The last on the list is the Airport of Logroño which obtains a rating of 3.5, mainly due to the short opening hours and its somewhat scarce services.

The penultimate is that of Melilla which with 3.7 points has a “limited infrastructure, situations of congestion, delays and frustrations”.
