Lanzarote airport exceeds 700,000 passengers also in January

There are only two months left on the calendar in which Lanzarote registers a lower number of passengers than that figure

Last year, César Manrique Airport registered more than 700,000 passengers every month of the year except for January, May and June.

In January 2024 there were 671,415 people, while in May they amounted to 663,867, and the following month there were 688,846 passengers.

According to data provided by Aena, January is also among the months with more than 700,000 passengers at Lanzarote airport. In the first month of 2025, a total of 701,232 passengers were counted at César Manrique, which represents an increase of 4.4% compared to January 2024.

In all the airports of the Canary Islands the increase was 6.9%. In total, more than 4 and a half million passengers were counted.

By airports, Gran Canaria registered the highest number of passengers, with 1,370,749, which represents 6.2% more than in January 2024.

It is followed by Tenerife South Airport, with 1,287,940 passengers and an increase of 6.8%; in Fuerteventura there were 549,609 (+8.1%); in Tenerife Norte-Ciudad de La Laguna, 520,263 (+10.3%); La Palma, 126,148 (+9.3%); El Hierro, with 22,836 (+4.4%) and La Gomera, with 9,106 (+19.8%).
