Flights between Lanzarote and the mainland, 10% more expensive; with the United Kingdom, 18% cheaper, this fall

Flights from Germany to Lanzarote cost twice as much as from the United Kingdom. Discover the price behavior in various markets and towards other islands.

Between September and November, the average price of a one-way trip between Lanzarote and the Peninsula amounts to 90 euros, 10% more expensive than last year, according to an analysis carried out by the tourism intelligence company Mabrian Technologies for Turismo Lanzarote.

Prices rose even further for connections between the peninsula and the capital islands. With Tenerife, they have risen 12% to 95 euros, and with Gran Canaria, 11% to 100 euros.

In contrast, the average price for a journey from the United Kingdom to Lanzarote, which amounts to 153 euros, is 18% cheaper than last autumn.

Prices fell even further for connections between the United Kingdom and the main islands. In Tenerife, the decrease was 19% and the average price was 147 euros, while in Gran Canaria the price fell 20% to 141 euros.

Prices are also down for connections from Lanzarote to Ireland, with an average price of 151 euros per leg, 25% cheaper than a year ago. Connections to Gran Canaria and Tenerife from Ireland fell in price by 18% and 16% respectively, but started from lower prices. The average price is 116 euros to Gran Canaria and 125 to Tenerife.

The flights that have increased the most are those connecting Lanzarote with Germany. The average price per journey is 313 euros, 13% more expensive than last year. Connections from Gran Canaria to Germany rose in the same proportion but started from lower prices. Thus, the average journey with Gran Canaria costs 269 euros. In Tenerife, flights to Germany fell by 1% to 262 euros per journey.

Between France and Lanzarote, prices remain almost identical to those of the previous autumn, around 122 euros per journey. Connections from the French country to Gran Canaria rose by 8% to 136 euros, and to Tenerife they fell by 7% to 125 euros.
