The Ministry of Social Welfare has published the bases that regulate the granting, under a competitive system, of subsidies for the development of actions aimed at social projects to support children and families for the year 2025, for an amount totaling 918,872.00 euros, which represents an increase of 80,000 euros compared to the call for the year 2024.

“Through aid, we guarantee financial support to programs promoted by social entities aimed at serving children and families in the Canary Islands who are having the worst time, not only guaranteeing basic and necessary aspects such as their food but also through support for family intervention services and programs aimed at facilitating family and work conciliation,” clarifies the Minister of Social Welfare, Equality, Youth, Children and Families of the Canary Islands Government, Candelaria Delgado.

Non-profit entities that have among the purposes established in their statutes the performance of activities considered eligible for subsidies, with at least one year prior to the date of the last day for submitting applications, and whose scope of action is real and effective in the Canary Islands, may access these grants.

The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, that is, until next Tuesday, July 22.

Applications for aid must be submitted electronically, through the single electronic headquarters of the Government of the Canary Islands, at this link.
