Viajes La Molina has made public this Friday its new agreement with Costa Cruises, according to which, the people of Lanzarote will be able to depart from the island to different points of the Mediterranean without having to take any plane.
The presentation was held as part of a lunch with journalists on board the Costa Mágica cruise ship, docked in the Port of Arrecife. The event was attended by Giorgio Costa, Director of Trade Marketing of Costa Cruises and the three partners of Viajes La Molina, Juan Carlos Ferrer, Miguel Ángel Carmona and Miguel Milán.
In this way, Viajes La Molina, an agency specialized in circuits and cruises, will offer exclusively a new route with departures from the Port of Arrecife. This is the Lanzarote-Mediterranean Cruise, on board the Costa Mágica, with capacity for more than 3,400 people and equipped with magnificent first-class facilities. The route will include stopovers in Tenerife, Madeira, Málaga, Marseille, Savona and Rome.
Viajes La Molina will offer four modalities to enjoy this cruise. Two of them include a 12-day journey with departures on April 20 and May 1; another option has a duration of 10 days with departure on April 11, and a last one includes navigation to Málaga (4 days) and circuit in Andalusia (3 days), from May 12 to 19. In addition, new departures will be announced soon in September, October and November.
This agreement has been possible thanks to the effort and close collaboration between Viajes La Molina and Costa Cruises. Juan Carlos Ferrer, Miguel Milán and Miguel Ángel Carmona, founding partners of the agency, agree that: "It has been more than six months of intense negotiations with Costa Cruises and we are very happy to have achieved it. We know what it means to position Lanzarote as the starting point of this wonderful cruise and it is a pride for us to offer it exclusively. On this occasion, the initiative has a special meaning as it coincides with the celebration of our fifteenth anniversary."
Giorgio Costa, Director of Trade Marketing of Costa Cruises has declared: "From Costa Cruises we are tremendously proud to continue reinforcing our commitment to Lanzarote, not only for the substantial increase in stopovers that, during the next year 2017 will take place on the island, almost double that during 2016, but also for offering the opportunity to its residents to embark from their own home without having to travel. We are confident of the success of the operation, a great step forward to continue strengthening our presence in Lanzarote and continue supporting the development of the tourism sector in the area."
The Lanzarote-Mediterranean Cruise is part of the catalog "Experiencias La Molina 2017", which includes a wide variety of exclusive circuits and cruises and will be launched next December. However, today some destinations as attractive as China, Canada or the Norwegian Fjords have been revealed.
