The vocational training center Akacenter has opened the registration period for two free English courses in Lanzarote, of levels A2 and B2, which will be taught in in-person modality and with all the materials and access to the official certification exam included.
These training courses, funded by the Canarian Employment Service (SCE) and SEPE, are aimed at improving the linguistic skills of the population and facilitating their access to the labor market. Places are limited and will be assigned in order of receipt of the required documentation.
The course of A2 level is primarily aimed at unemployed people who wish to acquire a solid foundation of the language and start communicating with greater confidence. For its part, the course of B2 level is preferably aimed at employed people from any sector who seek to perfect their English level and improve their professional projection.
Both courses focus on learning general English, with special attention to conversation and daily use of the language. The approach is practical, intensive and is aimed at enabling students to perform with greater ease in real situations, both personal and professional, especially reinforcing oral comprehension and expression.
The launch of these courses responds to the growing demand for profiles with language skills in Lanzarote, especially in sectors such as tourism, customer service, commerce, and administration. In an increasingly competitive work environment, having a good level of English has become a determining factor for accessing employment or improving working conditions.
From Akacenter they point out that this type of training allows to improve employability in the short term, as they are intensive, practical and adapted programs to the real needs of the market. Furthermore, they highlight that the combination of free and in-person training facilitates learning and the monitoring of the students.
Interested persons can apply for their enrollment through the Akacenter website or by calling 928 52 46 13, where they will find all the information about requirements and the registration process. The allocation of places will be made in strict order of complete application, so they recommend starting the process as soon as possible.
With this initiative, the training offer on the island is strengthened, aimed at improving key competencies for employment and responding to the current needs of the business fabric.
