The Chamber offers online conferences with advice to digitize companies in Lanzarote and La Graciosa

The training is organized within the framework of the CIDE Network of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa and is taught online on June 9 and 11. Register here.

According to the European Central Bank, Spain has a potential to implement teleworking of 30%, but even in the current situation of need, only 8% is being used. Digitalization is key to achieving this unavoidable challenge. The idea is to improve the competitiveness of SMEs through the adoption of a digital culture in their businesses that allows or favors sustained economic growth.

What is the purpose of digitizing?

Digitized companies are more dynamic in their processes, more productive, have a greater competitive advantage, spend less because the use of digital tools allows them to save costs and be more efficient, take advantage of commercial opportunities on the Internet and ultimately are more innovative and competitive.

This was already a reality before COVID-19. Now, SMEs and professionals who were ahead in this digital transformation process are the true queens of the market.

But it is still not too late for the digital transition, which is why, within the framework of the CIDE Network, the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has organized two online conferences with the possibility of accessing personalized advice for those who wish to adapt their businesses to the digital environment.

When and how

  • The first online conference will be held on June 9 at 10:00 a.m. It will address the most common mistakes that occur during the transformation process, as well as the most appropriate strategies to avoid them.
  • The second conference will be on June 11, also at 10:00 a.m., and will be dedicated to creating a digital transformation strategy, defining the transition from traditional business models to an efficient transition, with the basic support tools to develop it.

The two online sessions are complemented by personalized advice for ten consolidated business projects. With the help of our consultant Alberto Santana, you are offered the opportunity to design a basic digital transition plan. The plan takes into account aspects such as online marketing channels, information security in teleworking, basic economic, administrative, strategic intelligence or project management tools, among other concepts. Alberto Santana is an economist and founder of Plan B Group. He has been working for more than 18 years as a consultant in the improvement of business management systems. You can consult his curriculum here.
