Rancho Texas Park takes another step in its commitment to sustainability and the comfort of its visitors with the air conditioning of its pools using geothermal energy. Starting on Thursday the 20th, those who visit the park will be able to enjoy warm waters throughout the year, regardless of the outside temperature, in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly environment.
This system will maintain a pleasant temperature in the bathing areas of the Aqua Rancho water park, guaranteeing an unparalleled experience for families, children and those looking for a relaxation space. Specifically, the air conditioning will benefit:
- Main pool, ideal for the enjoyment of the whole family.
- Raccoon Lagoon, designed especially for the little ones.
- Hidden Oasis, a corner of tranquility and rest.
With this initiative, Rancho Texas Park reaffirms its commitment to innovation and sustainable tourism, offering its visitors a leisure alternative that respects the environment and is aligned with the use of renewable energies.
Sustainable pools: this is how the low enthalpy geothermal system works
The center has an innovative low enthalpy geothermal system to heat its pools, taking advantage of the temperature and flow stability of the water extracted from underground wells.
This water is heated by solar energy until it reaches 45°C and, through a heat exchanger —similar to a radiator—, transmits its temperature to the pool water without the two mixing.
In this way, an efficient and sustainable system is guaranteed, optimizing the use of renewable sources for the comfort of users.
