Akacenter, a reference center in the Canary Islands for professional training and job placement, opens registration for the last free English course of this year. This is the intensive B1 English course, training subsidized by the SEPE and the Canarian Employment Service that will be taught in face-to-face and intensive mode, in the morning, at the Tías center.
The course offers students all the necessary materials and a practical methodology designed to reinforce comprehension and expression skills in English, both oral and written. In addition, it includes access to the Cambridge Linguaskill exam, which allows you to accredit the level achieved in a test recognized internationally by companies and universities.
The initiative is aimed primarily at unemployed people, who will have priority in the allocation of places. To access it, it is necessary to have an A2 level, although those who do not have official accreditation can take a free level test at the center itself, which will allow access to the course after passing it.
As this is the last English course that Akacenter will teach in 2025, places are limited and high demand is expected. This call is an opportunity for those who want to improve their employability by reinforcing their command of English, a skill that is increasingly valued in sectors such as tourism, hospitality and services.
In addition to training, Akacenter offers participants its placement agency, which facilitates the active search for employment and contact with companies, supporting job placement once the course is completed.
People interested in taking this intensive course can pre-register on the center's website, by calling 928524613 or by going in person to any of the centers that Akacenter has in Tías and Arrecife.
