Bodegas Rubicón to sell its wines in the United States

Bodegas Rubicón, assigned to the Designation of Origin Vinos de Lanzarote, has recently signed a distribution agreement with the prestigious American importer SkurnikWines for the sale of its wines in the United States.

"The agreement comes after the Skurnik brothers, owners of the distributor, were impressed with the quality of Rubicón wines and the exceptional characteristics of the volcanic Malvasia," according to the winery.

SkurnikWines, based in New York, has an extensive portfolio of wines that includes more than 450 wineries from around the world, including prestigious Spanish wineries such as Vega Sicilia or Emilio Moro.

The wines selected to be distributed in the United States must have the highest quality, as well as a unique character and production process, requirements that Michael Skurnik, the third most influential person in the world of wine in New York, highlighted from the wines of the winery.

Bodegas Rubicón is optimistic with this new agreement that "opens the doors to the American market and to a country that has become the world's leading wine importer. In the city of New York alone, 40% of the wine consumed is imported wine."
