The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Canary Islands has increased again by 127 in the last day, bringing the total accumulated to 784. In addition, in the last 24 hours there have also been three new deaths on the islands, leaving a total of 24 deaths since the beginning of this health crisis.
According to these latest figures released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday night, there would be about 744 active cases in the archipelago, discounting both deaths and discharges registered so far.
However, the details of these data will be made public on Thursday, when the Ministry issues the daily statement with the balance of the situation in the islands. Until the previous day, there had been 15 discharges in the archipelago, although to that figure must be added at least one more that has been registered this Wednesday in Lanzarote.
In addition, as of Tuesday there were 235 people who have required hospitalization, of whom 43 were admitted to the ICU.
