Canary Islands registers a record of daily infections with 297 in the last 24 hours and adds a new death

The number of hospitalized patients rises to 175, 27 of them in the ICU

Health Department Reports 11 New Coronavirus Outbreaks in Lanzarote

The Canary Islands has registered 297 new positives in the last 24 hours, which represents a new record of daily infections --which was at 295 last Thursday--, placing the number of accumulated cases since the beginning of the pandemic at 6,442.

Likewise, during the last day we have had to regret a new death on the island of Gran Canaria, which puts the number of people who have lost their lives in the islands due to Cóvid-19 at 173.

According to the data that the Regional Ministry of Health publishes daily after 2:00 p.m., the active cases this Saturday are 3,662 (+287), and the recovered patients are 2,607 (+9).

Of the 3,662 current patients, 3,487 are in home isolation (+286) and 27 in an Intensive Care Unit --20 in Gran Canaria, 6 in Tenerife and one in Lanzarote--, with no variation compared to this Friday
