The Municipal Pavilion of Tías is hosting this weekend the Final Territorial Phase of the Women's Youth and, after the first two days, the two teams that will represent the Canary Islands in the Spanish Championship, Balonmano Rocasa and Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen, are already known.
The Tías team have secured a place for the state championship after beating Balonmano Tacoronte this Saturday (34-22).
Carla de Marco was the top scorer of the gold team with seven goals, very well accompanied in the offensive facet by the rest of the team. A choral victory in which the six goals of Carla Rodríguez have also stood out in attack. Daniela Mederos has scored another seven goals for the Tenerife team.
On Sunday, the name of the youth champions of the Canary Islands will be known, which will come from the confrontation between the two teams already qualified for the national tournament, Rocasa and Puerto del Carmen, a match that will take place in the Municipal of Tías at 12:00 hours. Previously, at 10:00 hours, the first match of the day will be held between Balonmano Caima of Fuerteventura and the Tenerife team of Tacoronte.
